Beauty and the Eye of the Beholder

Beauty is not necessarily “in the eye of the beholder” as the world would have us think. God has a standard of what beauty is, and contrary to the natural mind, beauty in God’s mind is primarily internal as our Bible verse states. On the inside, a gentle and quiet spirit is precious (or beautiful) in the sight of God. beauty

Let us be concerned with “Beauty in the eye of the Beholder”.

Your adornment must not be merely external⁠—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
