I Desire Compassion and Not a Sacrifice

Matthew 12:7 “But if you had known what this means, ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT A SACRIFICE,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.”

As religious Christians we need to be careful that we have our priorities right. You might have many doctrinal ducks in a row, but if you don’t have a sincere love for God and compassion for people, your theology is worthless.

Let’s be quick to have compassion and show grace to the lost and especially those in the church who are hurting. Let’s be slow to judge and leave condemnation to the only One who can truly condemn.
